I'm so lucky the bride (my sister) let the bridesmaids choose the dress. My sister selected the color -- a rich, chocolate brown -- but let us pick the dress and style. The overall consensus was this cute design by Thread: http://threaddesign.com/collections/pages/i483_2.php. We chose the chocolate dress with ivory trim & sash. For a bridal party with different tastes and opinions, I think we were all happy with this decision!

The bridesmaid dresses that Margaret picked out for you all were very nice and elegant! Lovely wedding and Kathy is definitely the person to be running this site. Margaret was definitely NOT a Frankenbride! -Jennifer (the unbiased cousin) www.EnkoreStuff.com (for when you all have kids!)

I love Thread dresses! I'm in a wedding in a couple of months but the bride hasn't chosen the dresses yet. I'd like to quietly encourage her to choose something that looks more like a cocktail dress than a typical bridesmaid dress. I figure, if I'm paying for it, I'd really like a dress I can wear again. Which brands are good for that?
