How do we put this delicately? The bride didn’t choose the dress that flatters your, um, ASSets. You’re planning to bite your tongue, wear the god-awful getup on the wedding day and take it straight to the consignment shop – oh wait, they wouldn’t want it either.
We can at least be reassured that there are many more options and dress styles for today’s bridesmaid. The days of Members Only jackets and Parachute Pants are now safely in the past and so are the poufy-sleeved, taffeta-choked, nightmarishly ugly dresses that were a staple of the 80s and 90s. But the photos still make us laugh out loud and every bridesmaid can use a good chuckle.
So dig through your scrapbooks or your family’s photo albums and email us the best of the worst. Prepare your acceptance speech… you could be inducted into the Bridesmaid Dress Hall of Shame.
