"Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing, a ring --
I don't mean a phone.
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight."
-"Santa Baby" recorded by Eartha Kitt and by Madonna Santa baby, it seems you'll be a busy boy this month! The jolly fella will be handing out loads of bling this winter because December is the most popular month for engagements. That's according to an online survey for
Robbins Bros., the World's Biggest Engagement Ring Store.
So with lots of women saying "yes" to his big question in December, the avalanche of wedding planning will start with the first round of squealing calls from the bride-to-be to her best gal pals. Many of those ladies will later end up saying "yes" to the bride's big question and will become the bridesmaids, triggering the beginning of their new duties. Don't go it alone! Visit
BridesmaidEssentials.com often and we'll be your lifeline.
In the meantime, we checked out those
survey results and they unearthed some other interesting nuggets. As for the gal popping the question to her future groom, the results showed that "37 percent of women are open to taking on this role." You go, girls!
But there's still some chivalry out there. With a nod to tradition, the survey also found that a "majority of men who responded would still ask their future father-in-law permission for his daughter's hand in marriage before popping the big question." Now that's a good way to make sure future Thanksgiving and holiday dinners are a bit warmer around her family's table!
